Founded in 2015, the Quebec-based startup aims to help companies prevent health and safety accidents in their workplaces. The company provides a simple, effective, and powerful platform that has revolutionized its clients' approach.
Dilygence offers a step-by-step guide and assists you in carrying out this work. The implemented analysis method is easy to understand and allows for sophisticated categorization of identified risks.
Toumoro was tasked with designing, developing, and marketing the Dilygence solution. This application allows users to prevent accidents by providing a simple tool to conduct health and safety risk analyses in workplaces. Risk management is facilitated through a set of interfaces and features accessible via a browser on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
This ambitious project aimed to drastically improve the safety conditions of factory workers in Quebec by introducing artificial intelligence into the safety field to identify, prioritize, and address human risks in the workplace. In less than 12 months, Toumoro created the company, the brand, a web application with a user experience that revolutionizes the field, and all the support materials to enable the rapid commercialization of the solution.
The application was developed with the highest standards of safety and quality in mind. A phase of research and testing was conducted before the start of development to validate the technological choices. This application was entirely designed by Toumoro with the help of business domain experts provided by our implementation partner Prévibois.
The Dilygence project has been a source of numerous entrepreneurial and technological challenges. Quebec's factories and manufacturing plants are undergoing a 4.0 transformation, and Dilygence fits perfectly into this trend. The targeted organizations must have reached a certain level of maturity in their health and safety management to optimize the use of Dilygence.
For this reason, the aim has always been to support accident prevention using an approach based on artificial intelligence. Using this approach, the challenge of the founders of Dilygence is to facilitate the prevention of accidents.
The application itself had to cover the needs of several types of users:
We began the project by creating a unique, tailor-made user experience. We visited various types of factories across Quebec, accompanying experts in risk analysis and accident prevention during their workdays to closely observe their methods and practices.
This phase enabled us to gather the necessary information to design the initial user experience and create the first application prototype. Utilizing a Lean design approach, we quickly tested our theories and proposals, iteratively refining the prototype with feedback from the company's first customers.
The application was developed using the Agile methodology, with close involvement from the customer's product owner. Throughout the development process, we regularly presented our progress to the customer, enabling us to refine the MVP significantly and eliminate friction points.
We aimed to simplify and enhance risk analysis and prevention, providing analysts with a better tool to ultimately reduce workplace accidents.
The initial version of Dilygence was launched to customers in early 2017. Within the first year, the application was deployed in several dozen factories. The design centered co-creation process, was fundamental to developing the app's user experience and underpinning Dilygence's success. Simple, effective, and powerful, this SaaS software has revolutionized accident prevention.
Dilygence has been successful for many businesses. Here is a list of some of the company's major customers:
In order to support the marketing of Dilygence, Toumoro used the vast experience of its designers to create the company's brand image. Several variations have been made, such as the logo, the informative website, roll-up banners, business cards and corporate clothing.
“The partnership with Toumoro has proven to be crucial and a key element in the success of our project. The Toumoro team was able to quickly and efficiently deliver a first version of Dilygence, which allowed us to quickly start marketing to our target audience.”
